When the girls go away, the storms came to play. Pittsburgh became Tulsa, minus the tornadoes however Indiana, PA turned into Indiana the state a few times this past week. Route 28 turned into a swimming pool at the 31st Street Bridge and the City of Pittsburgh Swift Water Rescue went to work on Wednesday’s rush hour. Meanwhile on the Dog Front, the Elle and Ms. Crosby tried their best to nap through the storms with the help of doggy […]
The backyard is starting to take off as Crosby has been lingering on the back porch. She reminded me this morning that even up to her last day Reba kept nurturing the rose bush. Thanks for taking care of me this winter Reba. By the way Elle is still peeing on your old beds. Hope you and Dakota are swimming, sniffing and running.
It’s amazing how far we both have walked. We’ve walked the shores of Lake Michigan, the Allegheny, Youghiogheny and Monongahela River banks, the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico together. Sometimes it was just us two sisters with mom and dad. And thanks to our extended family in Ohio, Florida or the river we may have been walking four wide. I realized that most of the walks may have been for exercise or just to sniff for boy pee, but […]
As us old dogs get older we need to eat more meals, more often, just in smaller quantities. We also try to steal our sisters food if we are not watched. Step 1: Step 2: Step 3: Step 4 for Crosby to slow her down. Step 5: Serve and protect Watch out for the ball. Crosby needs to drop some weight. Our activity level has dropped so her eating her sisters bowl has not helped.
Guess who was given the job to wait up for Santa and guard the cookies? For the second straight year Reba fell asleep on the job. This grateful dog is very thankful for all of her experiences in 2018. Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanza! Belated Happy Hanukkah!
We were really excited to see Lindsey . . And Chris. Avery too. However we could have done without the 270 drive to Delaware. This trip home is super long now. Thanks for the measuring cup. We’ll send it back via Dog Mail. Now to get home in time to watch #MEXvUSA. El Tri.
Guess who’s the barker in chief? We took the human to the park today. We have been known to frequent parks! Grant Park on Lake Michigan, Schenley, Frick and now Highland are all on our five paw list. We still miss Destin as you can see we are still wearing our winter coats. Duck time.
During the whirlwind settling in process sometimes it’s good to take a minute, breathe and be grateful for those people that make up who we are and what we have begun. Yes that means we were left alone to slumber in between the Pittsburgh rains. That may even be sun. But we did send something in today’s mail. Ok for the people- we had a little Arrigo get together in Washington. I believe the younger cousins were photobombed. The muscles […]
