Sometimes it’s good to reflect. Sometimes it’s good to dive in and refresh. We were sitting around and discussed a few ways to brighten up a wall in our house and this little project of water that we know, would be a great addition to a certain wall. The following is a workspace for the framed project. It represents, Quintana Roo, Highland Park, East Brady, Destin, Milwaukee, and West Virginia.
In the spirit of cleaning up my drafts this was started in the winter of 2019, shortly after realizing Reba was struggling physically. She was our rock for the past few years with her little eyes waking me up every morning before the sun would come up. Every time I log on in the morning I see those eyes looking back at me. In going to the river since Reba has passed it’s not quite the same without being pulled […]
We have a bunny and little birds. It’s really awesome to see them enjoying the growth through our plastic backyard. The ways the birds and rabbit coexist is really a sweet site, if only they knew how dangerous Crosby can make the back yard. The funny thing is now that we are not trying to grow grass we are actually doing a better job of growing it that we did the last time on 5th Street. Here’s a few little […]
After finishing the morning dog walk/SUP I was greeted by a text asking what would you recommend for a home exercise bike? Funny question since we recently made that decision. Since I’m a big Tim Ferriss listener and a former spin class junkie, I do tend to find instructor driven stationary biking to be much better for my mind and HIIT than the standard Precor, Lifefitness, Matrix recumbent or upright bike. I still bust out my old as it likely […]
Uncle Tom came to Pittsburgh and we made it out to golf before the storms rolled in this afternoon. For the record Sir Thomas did birdie number 17. About number 5: Drive it down the middle then cut your second shot down on the right hillside. Don’t be afraid of the slope to the stream. And regarding somebody’s birthday who coincides with Avery’s gotcha day. Happy Gotcha day Avery.
OK so the 2010 Focus was given an early death thanks to a distracted driver on the Highland Park Bridge. The lats, delts and AC joint have had lots of fun since then thanks to the speed of the collision. Life has been full of fun, so we’ve put car shopping on hold. Step one is research. Since Ford is moving away from the silver Focus model, it may be time to thing outside of the blue oval. Thanks to […]
When the girls go away, the storms came to play. Pittsburgh became Tulsa, minus the tornadoes however Indiana, PA turned into Indiana the state a few times this past week. Route 28 turned into a swimming pool at the 31st Street Bridge and the City of Pittsburgh Swift Water Rescue went to work on Wednesday’s rush hour. Meanwhile on the Dog Front, the Elle and Ms. Crosby tried their best to nap through the storms with the help of doggy […]
The backyard is starting to take off as Crosby has been lingering on the back porch. She reminded me this morning that even up to her last day Reba kept nurturing the rose bush. Thanks for taking care of me this winter Reba. By the way Elle is still peeing on your old beds. Hope you and Dakota are swimming, sniffing and running.
As us old dogs get older we need to eat more meals, more often, just in smaller quantities. We also try to steal our sisters food if we are not watched. Step 1: Step 2: Step 3: Step 4 for Crosby to slow her down. Step 5: Serve and protect Watch out for the ball. Crosby needs to drop some weight. Our activity level has dropped so her eating her sisters bowl has not helped.
At least that’s what Reba was doing on Sunday. This clock thing changing has feeding time, sunrise and the walk all mixed up. The snow is melting and the temps are slowly getting warmer. Rumor has it once all the snow melts the snowman will be put into storage until next Christmas. For now he will be decorated for the season as it looks like we will still have freezing temps for one more week. So much for what the […]
