Uncle Tom came to Pittsburgh and we made it out to golf before the storms rolled in this afternoon. For the record Sir Thomas did birdie number 17. About number 5: Drive it down the middle then cut your second shot down on the right hillside. Don’t be afraid of the slope to the stream. And regarding somebody’s birthday who coincides with Avery’s gotcha day. Happy Gotcha day Avery.
Prior to today Lindsey had completed in zero Anything that Floats Races. In today’s anything that floats race we came to entertain. While we started off kicking strong our plan of attack was not the best. We kicked and then we tried to paddle.
Reba and Crosby are very grateful dogs. They have a great house or maybe they should make it plural. They were happy with the river, Charleroi, A-wall, little Boston, Canal Winchester, Upper Arlington, Monongahela or Destin. As long as they had beds and belly rubs they were good to go, rolling with the punches in 2018. Something about the magical fibers emitted in the fur.
Once upon a time in the land of Cincinnati, there was a girl who graduated from Mt. St. Joseph. While us dog’s were having a night in with our rent’s we did a little digging. While we didn’t find bones in the back yard, we did find some digital cookie crumbs and a few photographs. Look how young I used to be; notice the red luster in my coat and my sister wasn’t around quite yet. . . Apparently the […]
We were really excited to see Lindsey . . And Chris. Avery too. However we could have done without the 270 drive to Delaware. This trip home is super long now. Thanks for the measuring cup. We’ll send it back via Dog Mail. Now to get home in time to watch #MEXvUSA. El Tri.
We just found a new Netflix binge while house cleaning. STAYHERE. We liked the first episodes idea of using a sign in map, instead of a book. We also liked the recommendations artwork piece. However we need to create our own. Dinner Dates 😚 Drinks for Two 🍷 Breakfast Getaway Adventures for Couples 🎣 Sights for Sore Eyes 👀 Kid Friendly Eats 🧒 Kid Friendly Places 🧒 Rainy Day Places 🧒 Bring Fido Yes, Reba and Crosby added their own just […]
Just a thought, but Dave Cain snapped this the other day and made me think it’s time to frame it and add it to 1812. I was thinking 16×16 so it can be added to the hallway. Please comment and let me know if you are on board. In other news camp in Greensburg is done. We saw lots of lightning, clouds, rain, and rubber pellets floating all to the corners of the field. The stream that runs under the […]
Sometimes things go exactly as planned. Sometimes weather and rain can mess that up. Sometimes human error plays into the issue. No matter what the cause there is no reason to get all huffy puffy, but instead be grateful for the opportunity to count your dog bones and get more belly rubs. Notify your move team and make sure they are aware of the date change. Start packing things: Winter clothes, fall clothes, dress up clothes, blender, mixer and baking […]
Let’s take moment to think about gratitude. Lindsey and Chris had a toast to remember. If you have followed our journey with ALS, this is one of those moments that we will always remember.
What do you do when the place you are beaching at does not permit personal umbrellas? Did we mention that the instruction sheet was left behind when the tent was loaded? Eventually the Eagle Scout, got off of his chair and assisted the Mrs. with the tent to make sure we had some shade at the beach.
