If you need a minute to breathe, open this up in your browser and play the video. Just listen and take in the water. After reading about the discharge from Olean into the Allegheny sometimes being on top of the water is the better option. It sounds like Olean is not happy either since they tend to recreate in the river. After the paddle debacle at the Anything that Floats, the new ones are a little lighter. Slow river traffic […]
The water was really nice this past weekend, the wind was even more amazing as it was pushing us up river. Leslie is lucky as the little camera was left behind so she wasn’t captured digitally. We did try the Rivers Edge. The had a Really nice menu and a deck to see the river.
When the girls go away, the storms came to play. Pittsburgh became Tulsa, minus the tornadoes however Indiana, PA turned into Indiana the state a few times this past week. Route 28 turned into a swimming pool at the 31st Street Bridge and the City of Pittsburgh Swift Water Rescue went to work on Wednesday’s rush hour. First the tree is still hanging in there. The vegetation has been cleared between the ice and […]

If you can smell it that means your allergies are awesome compared to Crosby's. We were left at home while th humans snuck out to go up the road for some type of superhero party.
Look at us. We have an awesome day for a long walk. We made it to the falls before we turned around today. Yesterday was only a 1.75 mile walk, today we did 2.2 miles complete with a view of the waterfall below and an excursion to see where a new kayak/SUP launch area is being established. Just below Jim Kelly Field they are establishing a new park with state funds. New picnic tables, parking area and what […]
