Oh my who would do a Thanksgiving on a Saturday? Or even only have steak instead of Turkey. I guess we should call that Ryan’s giving. Yes he’s back in the chilly commonwealth. Maybe the sun will show up again. So we’ve heard really amazing things about the Maples. It sounds like they are on the scale of Luke and Mikes in the winter so we will be a rather large group. Filet, filet, filet filet. That’s to be sung […]
Item one- Thank you grand-paw for our fresh water when we are in Charleroi! We appreciate the filter. Today was bath day at Candelore’s. We dirty dogs are grateful for one hour bath and spa sessions. We dirty dogs are grateful for a good walk on the Yough River Trail. We dirty dogs are thankful for the water we drink each day before and after our walks.
Once upon a time in the land of Cincinnati, there was a girl who graduated from Mt. St. Joseph. While us dog’s were having a night in with our rent’s we did a little digging. While we didn’t find bones in the back yard, we did find some digital cookie crumbs and a few photographs. Look how young I used to be; notice the red luster in my coat and my sister wasn’t around quite yet. . . Apparently the […]

Once evenly mixed roll into 1″ balls, place on greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes then flip or roll balls, bake 5-10 more. In other news, new housing starts are being reported as started […]
There is something about the smell of fall. There is also something awesome about temps in the 40’s when we wake up. There are way more people at the reservoir and Crosby love’s to say hello to them. Finding that we have deer bedding on our beach is also super smelly.
Is fall here in Western Pennsylvania? Based on Reba’s morning walk temps at 40 degrees F, I’d say so. We took a little stroll up the Allegheny River to see the sun peak over the hill this morning and found a few geese. It’s definitely a little different than our river one year ago when the water was lower and it was warm enough to paddle without a wet suit. The leaves are just starting to change a little. By […]
Soccer season is still in full swing in Western PA. I made it to Penn Hills for the first time since I’ve been back in PA. Going back to our little battle with ALS and seeing the scoreboard at Nate Ferraco Field reminded me how important it is to Live For Today! I missed the first kick-off game and fundraiser when the field was renamed living back in Oak Creek, but know how important it is to practice gratitude every […]
