Happy Thursday! June 8, 2023.
I’m taking a few minutes to re-listen and reflect on yesterday’s amazing session by Dave Matthews and Howard Stern. The levels of connection were amazing. The depth of Daves first song and the new fans on the scene discussion, remind me why every Dave Day is an amazing Dave Day.
Phoebe still doesn’t like fast moving kids, fast moving women, strange women, older women or anything sudden by anybody or thing. She will tree you if you tree! If you are bigger and don’t tree she will give you the woo, woo scare you bark first and if you continue to approach she’ll give you the – back off Crawford bark, I’m not messing around. We’ve had some good moments at ABC and the dog park, but this morning force feeding the mama dog didn’t go too well.
This is how our morning started. A little but I’d Phoebe—New places, new people, don’t always go well with Phoebe. Baby dolphins swimming with momma dolphin can change that mode. I had a chance to play catch up on cinema. There was a Tom Hanks movie filmed in Pittsburgh, Niagara Falls, LA and the Cuyahoga Falls. The movie added some technology, social media and humor from the book version, but it really was an emotional rollercoaster.

I really love how Tom Hanks makes his characters real and realistic. I really loved the Ask a Beaver for help t-shirt in one of the opening scenes. There is also something about that Maid of the Mist ride in the falls. In a few weeks I have a weekend gig near Lake Erie, I may need to dip my knees and ankles in the lake to aid in recovery for my ref life.
