Ok – so I’m working through this new theme. Some people had issues with the picture layout. Some didn’t like the yellow tones. So right now we are working through this new theme, spring soccer officiating, continuing education for Puppy Crawford, boating the rivers and setting up a kinder soccer world. The golf clubs have been put away for most of May and so far only one outing in June.
Yes, all of that unofficial stuff really does take up a lot of time and energy especially with allergy season.
Yes at my current age I’m still an athlete. Getting up and down the soccer field 3-4 days a week requires strength, flexibility and fitness. I’ve learned to do self-care with the foam roller, calf stretcher, yoga, cupping, scraping and other forms of active release. If I do three games on Sunday–the monday workout will be all about flushing out the lactic acid with muscle activation and mobility. If I was told in high school that hitting the gym and practicing yoga and breathwork would be key to maintaining my only performance machine, I definitely would have adopted that protocol much earlier.
Crawford has officially hit month 19 of life and month 13 with us. Phoebe is still in charge and we continue to work on Crawford’s issues with Buster at home. At the river–he’s a perfect pup, until Billy’s fireworks go off.
Annabelle has been on the Babar 41 and we think she likes it, but Billy’s fireworks didn’t help.
