As we learned from the Gulf of Mexico naming game–> Google pulls its names directly from US Government files.

That is why the Gulf of America exists for anybody with a US based IP location. That means that this past Monday, yesterday was a Federal and Bank holiday. The official name in the United States in 2025:


Columbus Day

Monday, October 13

There is some debate as to which person or people should be celebrated on this day. If Columbus didn’t arrive in North America- would the United States even exist? We should be reflecting on the outcome for the first people of the United States land.
