Dogs or cats?

The daily prompt that I started a long time ago was perfect for this day of waiting in the Christian faith. Connecting with nature and realizing we share this planet with them is one of the true tenets of our survival. Our animals give us unconditional love just as the story of the birth of Christ demonstrated God the fathers unconditional love for humanity.

Back to the daily prompt I save it is not as deep as the theology and belief systems behind the virgin birth and the discussion of what was happening in Jerusalem at the time of the birth of Jesus.

this day was are you a dog or cat person? Both? A switch?

Are you a cat or dog person?

This is easy for me. Dogs have helped me find my direction the last 20 years after not growing up around them. Let me name all the dogs that I’ve shared a bed with at some point in my life.

Daisy

Dakota

Reba

Crosby

Elle

Phoebe

Crawford

Olli

Scarlet

Meehlah

Or have made me give the belly rubs.

Briar

Oliver

Gus

Nilla Bean

Yep definitely a no brainer since Chloe (they/them) and Perry Como make my allergies flare.

What about you?

About the author

Phoebe and Crawford are two Bridge to Home rescue dogs living their best life together in Aspinwall. They get out daily in nature, take their humans for walks and coffee. Peloton and Place is Crawford’s training game. When we are not sleeping on a couch, we are chasing squirrels and birds in our backyard.
