In cleaning up the draft files I started, this topic was drafted back at the beginning of July 2024.
I know it’s real when the topic hits the radar of Stanley and Ryan. This has been on my radar for the past 18 months. I have a really good network of friends and family that have helped me navigate our family’s challenge to the law changes after the Seaside collapse. Some of my friends are engineers who understand structural steel, concrete, high humidity and salt water. Some of my friends are bankers, insurance specialists and finance people who interpret risk and plan for normal maintenance verse capital improvements that fall outside the maintenance scope. Then there are those real estate professionals who while they used to understand the market and selling properties may struggle to understand the paradigm shift that is occurring. Some of my friends are story tellers who kno that managing a crisis or perceived crisis is just as important as completing the work in a safe and cost effective manner.
Here is what I received from Ryan this morning.

I had previously discussed the following with Abby, Angel and Cindy in explaining what anybody wanting to relocate to South Florida needed to be prepared for in the immediate future. If you add in the insurance issues, you may want to just pick up an Airstream and find some land.
I’m including this longer form video for the cousin’s who may want to wait on the crash before they make their relocation.
