Mindfulness into the new year.

Uncle Dave left us at home again when he went on his morning run. We heard him and mom talking about not wanting to have salty dogs. We promise that we are really good diggers and swimmers and we would not be salty when it was time to go home.

Mindfulness is all around this week. Milwaukee’s NPR station had a segment with the author of a book called “Mindfullness for Teachers.” She talked about putting your oxygen mask on first before trying to help others. I believe that showed up in Les’s book “Be the Miracle” by Regina Brett. (Props to the Christmas gift).

We are currently going through another transition where being aware and present will be key. As always the plan is to take one step at a time. Sweat every day, breathe everyday and listen.
