If we’ve talked over the past days you know that I’m here with you. If I’ve shared a post with you, you also know I’m here with you. If I coached you or shared something from Dear Evan Hansen, I know sometimes you may need extra tools for your tool-belt. If you are a “KAREN”, but not named Karen, beware there may be an art project in your future.
Hello How Are You Doing Today?
It’s time like these that we need to look back to those times that challenged our thoughts and our way of doing things in the past. What did we do back then? Did we give up? Did we reconsider new ideas? Did we build new communities? Make new friends? Find new paths forward? This week I’ve been recreating a new playlist to help me get my groove going. I’m planning to share a different piece each day for the next week. Of course I’ll start with something from the Dave Matthews Band. If we haven’t talked, consider this my personal check in to you.
If you don’t know about me and the music of Dave Matthews. I’ve been following the same little drug since I was in college. I was first given a hand copied tape from a taper who saw them live in Charleston. Shortly after that I made it to my first concert. Thirty years later, I’m still following this drug all over the United States and even to Cancun. One more week until I get to see them in the PPG Paints Arena with three of my Dave Wive’s. I find that the music of Dave Matthews Band is my little drug. I find that it helps me recharge my batteries when they tend to be on empty.
