My watch and phone needed a break from the emails and text messages. Today was a day trip to Clarion and Armstrong Counties. We saw Trump and Harris signs. Yes people actually put their Harris signs up in these counties. We also saw a hand written sign that said “Hate will not make us Great again!”

Election Day means no school for FC Schools. Crawford needed to get away from the neighborhood kids who were home from school and were enjoying the crazy warm weather. Dad and baby boy road trips are always a good outing since he’s the road dog. He enjoyed his deck and his sliding glass door. He also was a good maintenance supervisor. The new grass seed needed a little more water to get growing before we go back to normal November temperatures.

Why is getting out in nature important on this Election Day? We know that the results will not be completed today. We know that even when we have results we have one candidate who will not accept the results unless they favor that candidate.

Why is this important. Today is a day where we just have to let the game play out. This is just the beginning of the marathon. We’ve now seen the playbook and we now know this game will play out through this weekend and then the next level of the game may ramp up.
