practicing gratitude this friday morning from the gray sky and cloud city of the Great Lakes–Pittburgh.
What I need really is all around me. In supporting my barrio, I realized how lucky I am to have the right people in my circle. The irony of ironies is my team was built through sport- baseball, soccer, gym. . .
Gratitude is realizing that paying it forward is the way to live.
Yesterday I was grateful for my team that came together to help put all the cards on the table so we could decide on the path of least resistance.
Yesterday I was grateful for being steered to the school bus stop so I could see Crawford keep his shipt together when he confronted the first 4 dogs and all the kids, but also recover when he lost his shipt when the 5th reactive dog approached inside his comfort zone.
Gratitude is realizing that when confronted with a challenge the resources magically pop up to assist.
Realizing when you need to purge is a gift. Knowing when you have too much on your plate and need to punt is also a gift.
Now let’s start planning to have some fun this summer. LET ME KNOW IF YOU’RE IN.
