This goes out to my friends who are choosing to share their special day with us in the Mexican Caribbean. It sounds like they have never been to this beautiful beach place and have friends that have not yet fallen in love with Mexico. I wanted to take a few minutes to hype the beauty of Punta Maroma, Playacar and Tulum since they picked a destination between Cancun and Tulum. The resort has a very beautiful beach. Hopefully the time they picked will be minimal on the seaweed. The Spa is awesome. The gym covers the basics. Each room that comes with “aguas del amor” are priceless. Yes you can shower outside, just watch out for sunburn if you do it in the middle of the day. When you add a beach that is perfectly raked with a little island to paddleboard between for a little afternoon salt water it only gets better. If you like to be wowed with food eat beach side or inside. Relaxing is made easy at this resort.
Personally I found that leaving the board short and golf clubs at home make for a really chill holiday. I’ve also loved every meal and beverage that my camereros have suggested. The people who work here took pride in helping me enjoy the best that their resort offered.

Our resort is not the Hidden Beach Au Naturel Resort that is just down the beach from El Dorado Maroma. Our resort does have the overwater bungalow–Palafito’s.
Let’s talk about activities in the area if you are unable to have a week of stillness. Me personally the concept of finding a beach bed with cocktail service, a book and some vitamin D sounds delightful mention these to your travel agent.
