Phoebe and Crawford know it’s spring. Their backyard has a big bunny… so far they have not caught the bunny. However they are both on alert for the bunny. If you’ve followed the story of spring in this Aspinwall house–you will know this isn’t our first bunny in the backyard. I know it’s spring thanks to my allergies creating runny nose, watery eyes and general ick within my nasal passages just like they were in Florida last month.
Our walks are very beautiful as our trees our flowering and the annuals are popping up. Our backyard tree has had several birds hiding in the branches as they serenade Phoebe and Crawford.
As a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey fan we are reaching the last 2 games of the regular season with the playoff picture looking uncertain for the first time in 17 years. The game in Detroit this holiday weekend resulted in point number 90 for the season and Sidney Crosby’s 1500th career point.
Golfers are spending this weekend in front of the TV instead of on the course with the masters.
Spring training is over and Major League Baseball is opening up all over the hometowns. As a Giants fan 2010 to 2014 were some amazing years. To think three titles in that window was like being a Penguin Fan these past 17 years.
As a Pirate fan the last pennant was hung back in 1979.
