Rochester, NY—
It was a good night to be out in the big City of Rochester with Nancy and Sarah. There was some wine to drink, squid and funghi to eat and gelato to desert upon. Stories were told, memories were made and sirens were sounded as we were on the edge of Mt. Hope Cemetery in the ROC. Then we were right side up dancing in the rain with Two Step, LIOG and #41. Funny the Way it is one concert is always a special celebration of life, struggles, death and our tiny little place on this planet.

The new goal is to dip my toes in the local beach before every Dave Matthews Concert. This is a constant in my life started back in 1996 when I received my first mixtape from Danielle after she saw him in a little college town of Charleston, WV. The intrigue of this band that couldn’t be labeled by the music industry began a great journey with many friends all over the United States. There were the shows that I ordered tickets to through the WAREHOUSE and those few through Ticket bastard. There was even that one time somewhere in Boston where I was part of the garbage crew.
Thanks to the various locations for concerts, I’ve been to the beach in Wisconsin, Illinois, New Jersey, California, New York and Mexico thanks to Dave Matthews Band shows. The list of friends and family that have joined me for shows is quite extensive, there is even the one show I did not attend due to a funeral. Nancy met us for dinner this weekend before the show in Rochester. We had a little wine, a few appetizers, cannolis and gelato. Sarah was able to learn about the historic places around the city and we made it to Charlotte’s Pier and the cities swimming spot.
In 2022, it’s been 4 for 4. Caribbean Sea and Lake Ontario.
