Let’s look back at February 2026 in photos . . .

A close-up of a black and white dog resting its head on a telephone, surrounded by cozy blankets on a couch.

Dateline Aspinwall, PA: Reflecting back on where our paws took us during the month of February, we are grateful that the US Futsal Northeast Regional Tournament in Atlantic City, NJ was last week and not this week. The Snow Cyclone that hit NY, NJ and Boston would have meant that dad would be an extra day or two from home.

We enjoyed all the snowy trails and parks and rivers that February provided us. We did not eat that groundhog from Punxsy, even though six more weeks of winter makes most of the humans hate him.

Yes our river was frozen for most of February both in Aspinwall and East Brady.

Mom and Dad made a pork loin roast with truffle sauce. Crawford decided he needed to finish the Mancini’s Italian Bread.

Once the ice started melting we had high water in Aspinwall. We kept watching for ice jams in East Brady.

We are one month closer to the October wedding that Rev. Pankiewicz has on the schedule near Canton.

Finally the overlords at the PIAA have seen the soccer light when it comes to the diagonal system of control.

Dad now has to work on a recruitment short list.

We are not quite sure how somebody hit another car just like this.

Then there was this crazy referee party in Atlantic City. Dad did not get permission from us.

We love snow. We love snow. We love to roll in snow.

Did we mention we golfed at Indian Bayou?

Pankiewicz party at the paint can.

Lord Stanley visited as part of the Black History Month Celebration.

Mimi found time for a sunset at the Crab Trap.

A whole month of rowing nowhere.

A movie that follows the Giants with Barry Bonds. Please enshrine him in Cooperstown.

Hockey in Cheswick with the Kerr’s and Primantis.
