Karen is a slang term typically used to refer to a middle-class white American woman who is perceived as entitled or excessively demanding.[1] The term is often portrayed in memes depicting middle-class white women who “use their white and class privilege to demand their own way”.[1][2] Depictions include demanding to “speak to the manager“, being racist, or wearing a particular bob cut hairstyle.[3] It was popularized in the aftermath of the Central Park birdwatching incident in 2020.[2]

I prefer to start my days with a sweat and lift session by pulling up my big boy Lululemon’s.
The moments pushing and pulling iron against gravity help me find balance. Lifting heavy weights almost always happens with music, unless I forget the headphones.
Lifting heavy weights with the beat and flow of music truly allows me to take a dance break in between sets for a moment or two during each session of lifting up the kilos and throwing back the bootay.
Life is too short not to laugh, dance and write about what brings me joy.
