It’s a Wisconsin thing!
We finally did a traditional supper club in Milwaukee by hitting up The Five O’clock Steakhouse at 6 pm. I really tried to make a reservation for 4:30 but couldn’t on Open Table. I guess there is a reason why it’s called the 5 o’clock steakhouse.
So what’s so special about a supper club?
You start in the bar with a cocktail! Of course it’s a Wisconsin tradition. Then your server actually takes your order in the bar and the starts preparing your table while the chef starts whipping up your meal.
Oh and the fresh bread and salad comes with a traditional relish tray. Then of course it’s time for the steak.
