Les and Dave have always been supporters of the American Family farm! Eat Local, Eat Real Food, Eat Tasty Food!
2017 will mark their 3rd trip to Farm Aid together! Oh and they will actually be in the same place at the same time! Let’s just called it a plan day to appreciate eating really good food, supporting family farmers, hoping the King Family farm still show’s up in Aspinwall on Sunday’s and taking a moment to breathe! Oh and hopefully this time after Cheryl Crow sings that Soak up the Sun song the Patriot’s won’t demolish the Steeler’s in the 2nd half of an AFC Championship game.
Thanks to Farm Aid 2015 we actually had one weekend together in Chicago while we were living in Milwaukee. It was a great excuse to have Hanna hang with Reba and Crosby, ride Amtrak to Union Station, eat Lou Malnati’s Deep Dish and explore the Magnificent Mile all while getting around on the Red Line.

However most of the crowd was not happy with Neil Young and his set that night. It was interesting seeing the Chicago crowd turn on the rock legend.
